| The calendar is a great way to find out about
upcoming events, activities and important administrative dates.
A small block calendar of the current month is shown on the
left for easy reference.
The list on the right side of the page displays the current
month's events. There is a color block between the date and
the name of the event. This is used to categorize events by
type. For more information, see "View Color Legend"
below.
To view past or future events within a different month, use
the links above the block calendar to move back or forward
one month. The corresponding list of events in the right side
will change to list those for the month you have chosen.
View Color Legend
The color legend will give you information regarding the colors
found on the calendar. With the color legend, you can scan
the calendar and search for the colors that are most important
to you. This makes finding the events you need to know about
quicker and easier.
Suggest an Event
If you would like to suggest an Event to be placed on the
calendar, click on "Suggest an Event". Fill the
form in with your event name, the start date, and, if the
event is more than one day, enter the end date as well. Place
any details about your event inside the box labeled "Story",
as well as any contact information for members interested
in attending your event. Once your event has been submitted,
the Meeting Place administrator will review it. If the administrator
accepts it, your event will be posted. In the case it is declined,
you will be notified.
If you want your event to be announced on the main page,
please submit a separate
request within the Announcements area and follow the guidelines
for submitting an announcement.
